Chapter 42: Clear Out If You Know What's Good for You
Deep within the cave, dense spiritual energy surged into Han Yang's body like a rising tide, forming a massive vortex around him.
After several days of cultivation, Han Yang's realm advanced by leaps and bounds, and the demonic power within him surged endlessly.
It was like a dormant dragon that had finally broken out of its cocoon, letting out a dragon roar that shook the heavens.
Feeling the abundant spiritual energy filling his body, Han Yang opened the system panel.

When Han Yang slowly opened his eyes, he found his arms empty.
Bai Suzhen was nowhere to be found, leaving behind only a note written in delicate handwriting.
"Young master, this concubine has gone ahead to scout the area. Do not worry."
Han Yang curled his lips. This little vixen really couldn't stay idle.
He stood up and stretched, his bones cracking with crisp pops, feeling immensely refreshed all over.
"Old Zhu, Little Jiao, wake up! Stop sleeping, you damn lazybones, it's time to work!"
With a kick to each of them, Han Yang woke up Zhu Ganglie and the Flood Dragon who were still fast asleep.
"Ouch! Boss, go easy, go easy! My poor old Zhu's butt is almost split in two by your kicks!"
Zhu Ganglie rubbed his rear end, looking deeply aggrieved.
Han Yang looked closely and almost laughed out loud.
This fellow's size was a full circle larger than before, and his bristles were as fiery red as burning flames.
His limbs were thick and powerful, and his tusks were sharper—completely showing the early-stage appearance of a Wild-Flame Raging Boar.
"Yo, Old Zhu, what divine elixir did you eat to change this much?"
Zhu Ganglie scratched his head, looking bewildered. "I don't know either. I just felt a hot current running wild inside my body, and then I turned out like this. Still, I feel much stronger,嘿嘿!"
Nearby, the Flood Dragon had also undergone heaven-shaking changes. Its previously dull scales now flickered with a faint golden light.
Its dragon horns grew straighter and sharper, and a subtle dragon might emanated from it.
"Boss, I feel like the dragon bloodline within me has awakened!" the Flood Dragon said excitedly, its eyes flashing with brilliant light.
Han Yang nodded with satisfaction; these two fellows were finally proving useful.
The trio left the cave and began exploring this blessed paradise.
"Wow! So many treasures!"
Zhu Ganglie's eyes glowed with greed as he frantically scavenged various spiritual herbs and medicines, wishing he could empty out the entire blessed land.
The Flood Dragon, on the other hand, had a special fondness for treasures exuding dragon aura, such as a palm-sized dragon scale or a dragon pearl flashing with thunderous light, both of which it found utterly captivating.
Han Yang used his Eyes of Truth-Breaking to continuously scan his surroundings, searching for the true secrets of this blessed land.
Suddenly, his gaze locked onto the depths of the paradise, where something seemed to be hidden, exuding a heart-palpitating aura.
"Let's go, take a look!"
At Han Yang's command, the three of them advanced deeper into the blessed land.
Along the way, they encountered various fierce beasts that guarded the celestial treasures within the blessed land, showing intense hostility toward the intruders.
"Roar!"
A gigantic bear demon roared and charged toward the trio, waving its massive paws and whipping up fierce gusts of wind.
"Come on!"
Zhu Ganglie shouted excitedly, flames bursting across his body as he transformed into a streak of fire to meet the bear demon head-on.
The Flood Dragon was not to be outdone, spitting out a pillar of water that turned into a water dragon, entangling another leopard demon.
Relying on their enhanced strength, the two beasts fought the monsters to a standstill.
Han Yang watched coldly; these small fries weren't worth his effort.
It wasn't until a powerful hawk demon appeared that Han Yang finally made a move.
"Insignificant trick!"
Han Yang sneered, his figure flashing as he instantly appeared before the hawk demon and threw a punch.
"Boom!"
The hawk demon was sent flying backward like a kite with a broken string, crashing heavily onto the ground, its life or death unknown.
Seeing this, the other beasts were scared out of their wits and fled in all directions.
Han Yang did not pursue them, continuing instead toward the depths of the blessed land.
He had a premonition that an even greater secret—and an even greater danger—was hidden there.
Suddenly, a patch of fog appeared ahead, from which faint sounds of Sanskrit chanting drifted, unsettling the mind.
"Boss, this fog looks a bit eerie!" Zhu Ganglie said with some unease.
Han Yang narrowed his eyes, operating his Eyes of Truth-Breaking to their full capacity in an attempt to pierce through the truth of the fog.
However, at that very moment, a massive hand suddenly reached out from the fog, grabbing toward Han Yang.
Before he could blink, the Wings of the Demon Lord on Han Yang's back snapped open.
The pitch-black feathers tore through the air with a sharp whistle, narrowly dodging the giant hand reaching out from the fog.
"Humph!"
A cold snort came from the fog, carrying clear anger. The giant hand returned, wrapped in even greater force, moving so fast that it was almost invisible to the naked eye.
This time, Han Yang did not dodge. The Body of the Demon Lord instantly activated, covering his entire body in a layer of pitch-black demonic runes as he took the blow head-on.
"Bang!"
With a muffled thud, Han Yang was pushed back several steps, carving two deep trenches into the ground beneath his feet.
Although the Body of the Demon Lord absorbed most of the force, the overwhelming, irresistible power still caused his blood to churn violently inside his chest.
"Damn it, what kind of background does this old fogey have? So much strength!"
Han Yang cursed inwardly, licking the corner of his mouth, yet his eyes held no trace of fear; instead, they ignited with a raging desire for battle.
The fog rolled and gradually dispersed, revealing a massive figure.
It was an elderly monk clad in a kasaya, looking benevolent with kind eyebrows, holding a string of prayer beads.
Yet, his entire body radiated a suffocating pressure, resembling an ancient deity descended to the mortal realm.
"Amitabha..."
The old monk chanted a Buddhist name, his voice echoing like a great bronze bell and causing everyone's eardrums to hum.
"Who are you all, daring to trespass into this forbidden ground?"
Zhu Ganglie snorted, hoisting a massive wolf-tooth club onto his shoulder with his bristles standing on end.
"Forbidden ground? Wherever my grandpa walks is the road! If you know what's good for you, get lost and don't delay Grandpa here from treasure hunting!"
The Flood Dragon also coiled its body, its golden scales gleaming brilliantly in the sunlight as it emitted a low hiss as a warning.
Han Yang activated his Eyes of Truth-Breaking, scanning the old monk, and his heart sank.
This old fellow's cultivation was unfathomable, far surpassing the three of them; he had likely reached some terrifying realm.
"Even if we can't beat him, we have to fight!"
Han Yang thought to himself: rather than sitting here waiting to die, it's better to strike first!
"Phantom Shadow Clones!"
Accompanied by a low shout, five clones identical to Han Yang appeared out of thin air, surrounding the old monk tightly.
"Insignificant tricks!"
The old monk sneered dismissively, though a glint of solemnity flashed deep within his eyes.
"Attack!"
At Han Yang's command, the clones and his true body launched their assaults simultaneously.
The six Han Yangs each unleashed their ultimate skills, and in an instant, the winds and clouds changed color within the blessed land as energy surged violently.
The Wings of the Demon Lord tore across the sky, kicking up fierce gales, while pitch-black demonic claws ripped through space, leaving behind dark spatial fissures.
The Soul of the Taotie frantically devoured the surrounding spiritual energy, transforming it into a violent wave of energy shockwaves.
Powerful though the old monk was, he was momentarily suppressed by Han Yang's frenzied assault.
His kasaya flapped wildly in the wind, and his prayer beads flashed with golden light, barely resisting the bombardment of the six Han Yangs.
