Author's Note on Official Publication
As this book is about to be officially published, I find myself feeling quite excited.
I am a newcomer to writing, and my prose may be lacking; I worry at times that I might not be able to fully master the vast world I have envisioned. Regular readers may already know that this book is a complete rewrite. Compared to the utter mess of my previous work, the setting and logic here are much clearer and more rigorous.
I must state clearly: this is an "invincible-style" story, but it is an intelligent, calculated one, not a mindless power fantasy. A mindless version might involve a protagonist who travels back to the Primordial Era only to slaughter everyone in sight, slaying heavens and saints alike to become peerless overnight. This is not that. In the grand and rigorous framework of this Primordial world, the protagonist begins as a weakling with neither the standing nor the strength to challenge a saint. He must endure a period of lurking and forbearance, employing various schemes to cultivate his power before he can finally soar to the heavens, clash with the saints, and embark on his path to invincibility.
Some readers have remarked that the story lacks excitement. I admit that up to this point, it has indeed been devoid of high-octane thrills, but that does not mean it will remain so. The protagonist is still in his formative stages, merely a weak ant, a pawn in a larger game. For him, head-on confrontation is not his primary objective right now. He must rely on conspiracies, calculations, and patience. Perhaps this makes for a slower, less thrilling pace, but I cannot sacrifice the logic of my setting by having an insignificant ant challenge the lofty saints simply for the sake of immediate spectacle.
Of course, these monotonous days are drawing to a close. The protagonist will soon ascend to dominance, sweeping across the realms and vying with the saints themselves.
Having addressed those reader concerns, let me outline the concept of this book. Most Primordial-style stories begin after the ancient era, specifically after the Three Pure Ones have attained sainthood. But what happened before that? What was the Primordial world like? That is why I have added an "Archaic Era" preceding the Ancient Era. I want to create a unique world for this Archaic Era and depict the Primordial realm before the Three Pure Ones rose to power.
The reason this book is titled The Legend of the God Race is that I wish to portray everything in the Archaic Era through the perspective of the God Race. In my conception, the God Race were the masters of that age. Through their rise and fall, I intend to chronicle the Archaic Era of the Primordial world.
I humbly ask for your continued support through views, follows, and recommendations.
