Author's Note on Going Live

It seems my book is going on sale tomorrow. Over this period, Little Blue has been quite torn, because for some unspeakable reasons, my previous book got censored.

I've been in pain. I've complained.

Well, everything has to start over, and life goes on. As a struggling writer, getting signed twice in a row isn't easy. Remember my first book, this handsome guy's first attempt? It flopped so hard it was tragic.

Some people said the pacing of my last book was too fast, so I thought I'd slow things down this time around. But wouldn't you know it, some folks still complained. Well, that's normal—different strokes for different folks, right? Either way, you're all welcome to roast me.

I'm a low-level hack with limited skill, writing purely as a hobby. I used to be a hardcore bookworm, and since I really can't enjoy the stuff being published these days, I decided to write my own.

It's not that the big-shot authors don't write well. I just can't appreciate them, that's all.

Writing a book isn't easy at all. The regulations nowadays are very strict, and writing really is painful. Sometimes you have to battle with censored keywords, and after all the back-and-forth edits, you end up messing up your train of thought.

Thank goodness I have an outline, or else I'd have wandered off-track ages ago.

Even though I'm a nobody, I'm still going to beg here for your first-order subscriptions. I'm going on sale with zero preparation or promotion, and how miserable that is goes without saying.

Give your little bro some support, whatever form it takes. I've already resorted to throwing tantrums and rolling on the floor, so just toss me the monthly tickets and subscriptions you don't want.
