At this moment, Mo Bai unexpectedly produced a pale yellow manual from his hand, with three large characters written on its cover: "Yang Cultivation Technique." Xue Chou, whose eyes were dull with shock, instinctively reached for his chest, marveling in secret — how did this book end up in Mo Bai's hands? Why had he felt nothing at all?

Mo Bai said coldly, "Don’t bother searching. Do you think the book in my hand is a fake?"

Shun Qing’s eyes flashed blue as he cast a furious glance at Xue Chou and declared, "That Yang Cultivation Technique is in your possession, which proves you are the vile culprit who seeks to steal yin and replenish yang."

Mo Bai laughed aloud, "Are you still going to resist? Don’t you know there’s such a thing as palm prints? Everyone’s are unique; you can’t deny it." He pulled out a piece of cloth, raising his voice: "Fellow townsfolk, this is the garment worn by the county lord’s son when he was slain. It bears Xue Chou’s palm print. This Yang Cultivation Technique manual also has his palm print. Both are here—what more needs to be said?"

Unable to endure further, Xue Chou lunged at Mo Bai, shouting, "Give me back my manual!" That single line of desperation exposed him utterly, and the townsfolk gasped in astonishment. So Xue Chou really was the lecherous villain all along. Their curses rang out, yet none dared stop him; after all, Xue Chou was a formidable spirit cultivator.

At this moment, Shun Qing’s gaze turned icy and sharp. He bellowed, "Well, well, well, Mo Bai — you’ve managed to unravel the truth and expose us master and disciple. But so what? I am a spirit cultivator of the grand Cloud Sky Sect. What’s wrong with toying with a few ordinary women? Even if you’ve uncovered the truth today, what can you do? You’ll only implicate the people of Cloud Town. Not only will you die today, but so will they!" Shun Qing now bore no trace of a master’s dignity, having become a vicious demon.

Mo Bai replied with chilling indifference, "That talk of palm prints was mere fabrication. Even if such evidence existed, it wouldn’t be easy to recognize. But you two walked right into the trap. You cannot blame me. However, if you wish to slaughter everyone here, you’ll have to prove you’re capable."

Shun Qing burst into laughter, as though hearing the world’s greatest joke. "Child, even if you’ve cultivated from birth, how much power could you possibly possess? Today, I will entrap all of you within my Cloud Sky Binding Array!"

Mo Bai spoke quietly, "The suffering I have endured is not something an ordinary spirit cultivator like you could comprehend."

In a single instant, Mo Bai unleashed his palm, directly striking Xue Chou — who was believed to be Cloud Town’s foremost spirit cultivator — sending him flying. A mouthful of blood spilled forth, and Xue Chou could no longer stand, nor had he even seen how Mo Bai attacked.

Shun Qing was stunned, but quickly began forming his array, his three fingers weaving seals. He had realized that Mo Bai was no ordinary figure, and the townsfolk felt the mounting pressure.

Mo Bai sneered, "Sadly, your Cloud Sky Binding Array is no longer the true Cloud Sky Array in your hands. What purpose does it serve?" Light flashed in Mo Bai’s hand, forming a bizarre formation, which shifted and transformed. With a cold snort, Mo Bai shot the array from his hand straight out of town.

A thunderous boom shook the air. The crowd felt the oppressive force vanish into nothingness. The grand Cloud Sky Binding Array was shattered by Mo Bai’s single blow. Shun Qing stared at Mo Bai in shock, asking, "Who is Master Yun to you?"

A trace of amusement flickered in Mo Bai’s eyes, as if remembering that old fellow. "I did not expect you to know Master Yun."

Shun Qing spoke with a hint of awe, "Master Yun’s fame spreads across the entire Linglong Continent. He is one of the rare spirit cultivators outside the five great sects. I once had the fortune to witness him use the technique you just performed, though I never knew what it was called."

Mo Bai said, "Since you know Master Yun, I’ll give you a chance. Xue Chou is dead, and neither you nor I need rush to judgment. Come with me to the Cloud Sky Sect to answer for your deeds."

Shun Qing’s face was full of dejection. Just from Mo Bai’s earlier display, he knew he was no match. Everything before had been mere pretense. Now, he had lost all the bearing of a spirit cultivator. After releasing a faint aura, he wilted like an ordinary passerby.

Shun Qing submitted to justice, Xue Chou was slain, and the people of Cloud Town rejoiced, expressing their gratitude to Mo Bai. Mo Bai smiled gently, saying this was but a minor matter. Wu Luohua approached, remarking, "Brother Mo, your methods are extraordinary. I feel even safer at your side. But when shall we head to the Cloud Sky Sect? And how did you learn Master Yun’s secret techniques?"

Mo Bai laughed, "We are little gourmands, while he is an old one. Once, we competed in drinking. He lost to me by accident, and without money to pay for his wine, he taught me a few tricks so I’d cover his tab."

Wu Luohua burst out laughing, "Who would have thought the renowned Master Yun would be unable to pay for his wine?"

Mo Bai said meaningfully, "Not every spirit cultivator is wealthy, especially one so fond of fine food."

Wu Luohua sighed, "If I ever get the chance, I must meet this senior."

"Boy, whether you have the fortune to meet Master Yun is another matter. For now, enjoy more of my Four Lakes Fresh Fish." Uncle Wu had somehow walked over, beaming brightly.

After subduing Shun Qing, Mo Bai teased, "Uncle Wu, you claim you don’t dote on Xiao Hua, but look how you’re grinning — your face could blossom."

Uncle Wu chuckled, "Xiao Hua, Xiao Hua, that’s a fine name. For that, let’s drink a great toast!"

"Uncle, can you make the fish while you celebrate?" Wu Luohua smiled sweetly.

The aroma wafted everywhere. Even without a kitchen, Uncle Wu cooked superbly. The Four Lakes Fresh Fish in his hands became a peerless delicacy. Mo Bai took a bite and said contentedly, "Though the trip to Cloud Town had its minor troubles, eating Uncle Wu’s Four Lakes Fish makes it all worthwhile."

Uncle Wu took a hearty gulp of Qiong Yinyu, pointing at Mo Bai’s nose, "You rascal, don’t expect to beat me next time!"

Wu Luohua asked curiously, "How did Brother Mo beat my uncle?"

Uncle Wu instantly grew anxious. Mo Bai responded mysteriously, "I cannot say, I cannot say."

Only then did Uncle Wu relax, barking, "Children shouldn’t pry, just eat your fish. Once you’re done, come home with your uncle. I still can’t fathom how your father let you wander out."

Wu Luohua said, "Going home means you return alone, Uncle. I am traveling across Linglong Continent with Brother Mo!"

"Hmph, you think you’re grown? Do you know how dangerous Linglong Continent is?" Uncle Wu clearly disagreed with Xiao Hua’s plan.

"Dangerous or not, I only know how sweet Qiong Yinyu is. Unless, you’re not drinking anymore?" Wu Luohua laughed.

"That won’t do. But if you stick with Mo Bai, nothing much should happen." Uncle Wu suddenly changed his tune, then scooped a generous portion of fish, grabbed a jug of Qiong Yinyu, and with a swish, vanished. Only a few words lingered in the air: "You two, take care of yourselves."

Mo Bai and Wu Luohua exchanged glances and broke into hearty laughter.

Suddenly, a shrill voice rang out, "Enjoy your last meal, you two. Tomorrow is the day you die!"
