Chapter Sixty-Three: Scheming
"Of course," Blue Sky replied, unfazed by her teasing. "Even if you were the wealthiest person in Ning City or the leader of the country, you’d still have to be filial to your parents." He went on, "You’ve worked hard today. Just drop me off at the company later and head home to rest early."
He paused for a moment, then explained, "As for what happened today, don’t think of me as some kind of monster. In time, you’ll understand."
Chen Xiaoxuan giggled. "Monster? You said it yourself, not me~ Don’t worry, I don’t care what you are. Having a superhuman friend is nice—at least I won’t need to fear bad guys anymore, haha."
Blue Sky rolled his eyes at her, fell silent, and closed his eyes to rest, all the while contemplating the audacious plan brewing in his mind, considering the obstacles he might face in carrying it out.
With Bai as his trump card, difficulties were only relative. He believed that whatever he set his mind to, nothing on Earth could stop him.
Wang Ling’s condition had stabilized; a few days of rest would suffice. Tomorrow, he would bring his parents over, freeing himself from worries.
It was time for bold reforms.
Still, things must be taken step by step, one bite at a time, one foot in front of the other. There was still some time left; he would return to the company, drive his car home, and then practice the second move tonight—for after all, strength was the foundation.
"Alright, I’ll head home now. Today was so thrilling—I need to hurry back for some beauty sleep. Tomorrow, I’ll be back at the company battling alongside everyone." Chen Xiaoxuan parked the car at the entrance of the Virtual Network Company, smiled, and bid Blue Sky farewell.
"No rush, take a couple of days off. The Virtual Network hasn’t officially launched yet. Once it does, you’ll be busy as our spokesperson. You’re the face of our company," Blue Sky smiled and nodded, walking toward the building.
After he left, Chen Xiaoxuan didn’t start the car immediately. She watched his departing figure, her gaze complex, until he disappeared from view. Then she pursed her lips in a smile and drove home.

"Hey? Old Fan? Why are you still at the office?" Blue Sky asked, surprised as he stepped into the room.
He had been about to go to the underground garage for his car when he noticed the lights upstairs were still on, so he decided to check it out. Unexpectedly, Fan Ming was still at his desk, pen in hand, head down, writing something.
"President Blue, what brings you here? How’s Lawyer Wang?" Fan Ming looked up, equally surprised.
"Don’t worry, he’s awake—it’s nothing serious." Blue Sky nodded, then looked at Fan Ming with sincere gratitude. "Old Fan, you’ve worked hard today."
"Ah, it’s nothing! Just doing my job. Why don’t you head home and rest? I’m working on a plan, compiling information on the contract factories. Tomorrow, we can finalize the factory!" Fan Ming, seeing Blue Sky’s approving gaze, felt reinvigorated. He quickly reported, "You have no idea—I dream of entering the Virtual Network again. You’re truly extraordinary!"
Blue Sky laughed. "Thank you for the praise, but the Virtual Network is only the beginning. Earth will become much more interesting—look forward to it!" He continued, "Trust me, I’m not blind. I’ve seen everything you’ve done these past days. I promise I won’t let you down."
"Not just not let down, President Blue—following you, following the Virtual Network Company, is the best decision I’ve ever made!" Fan Ming was deeply moved by Blue Sky’s heartfelt words, promising to give his all.
After chatting a bit more and settling the preliminary work plan, Blue Sky headed to the underground garage and drove home.
To his surprise, Fan Ming’s efficiency was impressive. After all that had happened today, he expected the garage to be as damaged as it was at noon, perhaps needing some effort to retrieve his car. But when he arrived, the area had already been cleared. Though some severely damaged spots remained unrepaired, he could retrieve his car without issue.
When he got home, Blue Sky immediately began training the second move of his foundational exercises, bathing in the boundless cosmic energy, feeling his body grow stronger. Half an hour passed in the blink of an eye.
"Bai, if I wanted all humans on Earth to practice cultivation, would that be possible?" After finishing his training, Blue Sky suddenly asked.
---
"What do you mean? You want to spread my master’s cultivation method across the whole planet?" Bai’s projection appeared, shaking his head repeatedly. "Impossible, absolutely impossible! Not only is my master’s cultivation method incredibly precious, but even if you did pass it on, do you think Earthlings have the physical aptitude to complete the first move on their own?"
"What about through the virtual game? You could make the game I use available to everyone. That way, people could practice in the virtual world first, and once they’re ready, train in reality, just like me." Blue Sky pressed on, unwilling to give up.
"Don’t even think about it. With my current limited abilities, that level of virtual game can support no more than ten people at once. Any more, and it exceeds my limits!" Bai shook his head. "Don’t waste your energy. As the saying goes, you Earthlings barely know how to walk, and yet you want to run?"
"No, I mean—is your master’s method the only one that can be practiced? Aren’t there any simpler methods, even if the results aren’t as good?" Blue Sky probed.
"There are, plenty of methods just for strengthening the body, but they only use a trace of cosmic energy, so they're basically useless. In the Source Lan Empire, they're just foundational exercises for children," Bai nodded.
"That’s good enough! I don’t have high demands—just strengthening the body is fine. If people could leap across rooftops, even better. Once everyone’s physical fitness improves, they can practice more advanced methods. If your master’s method can’t be taught, I’ll find others out in the universe and pass them on later," Blue Sky said, excited.
"No problem then. Those ‘worthless’ methods are basically useless, but if practiced well, strengthening the body and leaping across rooftops is no issue," Bai nodded again.
Blue Sky was overjoyed. This was precisely his aim: he wanted all humans to shed their frail bodies, lay a solid foundation, and be ready for the wider universe.
As for how to spread these methods, it would be through his Virtual Network. With the Virtual Network, everyone could learn cultivation techniques in the virtual world, then train their real bodies and gain true strength!
