Mythical Invasion: I Slay Gods on Earth Yellow pen 2730 words 2026-04-13 09:56:40

Layers of towering hundred-meter waves crashed down with a deafening roar!

Like a collapsing mountain, the massive tides even blocked out the sun, sweeping across the surface of the ocean like a giant hand of the sea!

"Boom!!"

In this instant, the earth itself seemed to tremble!

The power of a god!

Faced with those hundred-meter waves crashing down from the sky, humanity appeared profoundly insignificant.

The ocean collapsed upon itself, and the seawater poured forth wildly!

"Boom!!"

At this moment, there was no sound of gentle waves, only a cataclysmic roar akin to the shattering of heaven and earth.

The seemingly fragile seawater, imbued with the force of ten thousand jun, surged outward in a devastating sweep!

"Ah!"

"Run!"

Those fleeing frantically along the beach were like ants. Caught in the sweep of the colossal waves, they possessed no qualification whatsoever to evade or resist. A single wave crashing down obliterated them entirely, leaving not a trace behind!

They did not merely drown; they were crushed to pieces by the sheer force of the waves!

This was the power of a god!

Under the scouring of the tides, the blood-stained beach was instantly cleansed, utterly immaculate!

And along with it, the fleeing crowd vanished without a trace!

The waves rolled backward into the ocean, yet the sea did not settle.

Standing upon the water's surface, this third-order Sea God wore a placid expression as he extended a hand, gathering together the souls drifting upward from the churning waves and casting them into his divine domain.

Once again, he raised his hand.

"Boom!!"

Even more colossal waves rose up, suspended above the sea surface, soaring to a height of a full one hundred and twenty meters!

Radiant with blinding divine glory, the god stood atop the towering waves, gripping a trident. Expressionless, he cast his gaze toward the resort area located a full thousand meters away from the shoreline.

There, towering buildings stood in dense clusters, with numerous hotels and villas spreading out across the landscape.

The previous waves had not reached that far, but by now, the area was teeming with screaming, panicked crowds. Many people jumped into their cars with frantic expressions, stepping hard on the gas pedals in a desperate bid to flee.

Yet there were also those bold—or perhaps utterly insane—individuals who crowded against the windows of high-rise buildings, watching the spectacle from afar. Some even held up their smartphones, broadcasting the tragic scene and the might of the god with excited expressions.

"Oh my god!"

"This is so thrilling! Is this the power of a god?!"

"My friends, are you seeing this? Those people are all gone! This is the power of a god!"

"New viewers, smash that like button! Your streamer is risking his life right here to bring you this broadcast!"

"Evacuate? Don't worry, absolutely not evacuating! I'm completely safe here; my distance from the beach is well over a thousand meters!"

These people utterly failed to realize the mortal peril they were placing themselves in.

After all, they were more than a thousand meters away from the beach. Besides, could reinforced concrete high-rises possibly fail to withstand a little seawater?

Yet the reality was brutal.

They could not withstand it!

Before the fury of the ocean, everything seemed so utterly powerless!

The god gazed indifferently at the distant ants—some fleeing in cars, others still clinging foolishly to windows to gawk at him. His expression remained cold.

He surveyed this land as though appraising a precious treasure.

"What a vast expanse of land."

"If I refine it into a divine domain, and transform all the life upon this land into my devout believers..."

"Then, truly, that would be wonderful."

He smiled.

The trident erupted with dazzling divine light, surging with terrifying divine might!

"Go forth, and conquer this land!"

The words of the deity echoed across the heavens and the earth!

In that moment, the entire ocean shook!

"Boom!"

The violent, churning roar sounded like the fury of a giant beast, causing the entire world to tremble.

This was the roar of the sea!

Simultaneously—

"Roar!!!"

Countless roars erupted in unison. The sea beast believers lurking within the depths of the ocean surged forward with the tide, howling in ecstatic excitement as they bared their claws and fangs toward the mainland and the citizens of the Free Federation living upon it!

They, too, could sense the sweet scent of flesh and blood—the scent of food!

"Boom!"

The hundred-meter tide swept onward.

Yet this time, the waters did not recede back into the ocean. The entire sea seemed to invert itself, the recoiling waves rushing frantically onto the mainland!

The ocean was devouring!

The sea level was rising!

Viewed from high above, the entire four-thousand-li stretch of the Free Federation's west coast was being dyed blue, inch by inch, at that very moment.

It was as if the ocean had opened its maw, intent upon swallowing the earth whole.

Countless tons of seawater rose instantly, rushing and churning across the land as if aiming to submerge everything in existence.

A thousand meters away, the water level instantly surged to waist-height, and it was still climbing relentlessly!

Those who had attempted to escape by car had barely pressed the accelerator when the seawater flooded their engines, causing them to stall instantly!

Panicked, they forced open their car doors to escape, but in that brief span of time, the water had already risen to their chests.

"What is happening?!"

"The water... it's rising!"

"Help..."

Some citizens of the Free Federation were drowned directly inside their vehicles, unable to pry open their doors before death claimed them. Others managed to crawl out through car windows, scrambling onto the roofs of their vehicles.

Yet looking at the terrifying speed at which the water was rising, utter despair gripped their hearts.

In mere seconds, the floodwaters completely submerged them, obliterating any trace that roads and vehicles had ever existed!

And those were the lucky ones. Countless others did not even have time to struggle or process their impending mortality before successive waves battered them into pulp, grinding them down and swallowing them whole in the churning vortex.

Those fragile private cars, caught beneath a force capable of crushing everything, were instantly torn apart by the tides and squeezed into bloody, mangled sheets of metal before sinking into the depths of the sea.

Building after building—once deemed "indestructible" high-rises—were battered, breached, and crushed to pieces!

Along with the crowds trapped inside, they sank together into the churning ocean.

Inside a high-rise building that had not yet been struck by the giant waves, a white woman stared out at the collapsing structures in the distance and took a deep breath. "Thank goodness the waves haven't reached us here..."

"What the hell are you celebrating, you idiot!" a white man beside her roared loudly. "Did you see how fast the water level is rising? If this keeps up, even if we run all the way to the roof on the thirty-second floor, we'll only last another two minutes at most!"

"Stop standing around like a fool! Get to the elevator—no, the elevators are dead! Follow me to the stairs!"

Dragging his wife by the arm, he joined the panicked throng rushing toward the stairwell.

Yet just as they reached the entrance of the stairwell—

"Boom!"

A wall suddenly shattered. Amidst the shrieks of the crowd, a humanoid creature standing over a dozen meters tall crawled inside, dripping wet.

What a horrifying entity it was.

Its massive form crouched low there, and even though the ceiling height restricted it from standing fully upright, it still evoked an overwhelming sense of minuscule insignificance in all who beheld it.

Sharp claws and fangs, tough grey skin, and a pair of glowing crimson eyes!

A sea beast—a shark-tribe warrior!

"Hehehehe... Food, where do you think you're running?"

Amidst its muffled, cruel laughter, the crowd wailed and scattered in terror. Countless individuals were snatched up by the sea beasts rampaging through the building, shoved into maw-like mouths and chewed to a pulp.

Sharp teeth were stained with human blood, and half a skull shattered inside the jaws of the shark warrior.

Watching his wife's severed head crushed between the teeth of that towering monstrosity, the white man seemed to lose all strength, dropping despairingly to his knees.

As he watched the massive creature stride toward him, he turned his gaze toward the direction of the Free Federation's capital, his eyes blazing with fury. "This... this could have been avoided!"

"You damned, foolish swine..."

"Crunch!"

His head was shoved into those jaws, his enraged face crushed between grinding teeth.

Much like a ripe, juicy tomato.
